Freshening up the Blogroll

Deleted Marc Ambinder from the blogroll, as he is no longer blogging.

Deleted Daniel Finkelstein from the blogroll, as his blog has gone behind a paywall or somesuch.

Very sadly, deleted Freedom Democrats from the blogroll, as they have been inactive since June.

Deleted Gay Patriot from the blogroll, despite my pique of support, and instead re-added the more well-rounded Americablog.

Deleted Park51 from the blogroll, as I’m not certain that project is currently going anywhere, and our link was bad. For the record though, this is still America.

Was going to delete Radenko Fanuka from the blogroll, but his last writings contained the poetic stanza reading…

Oh Mother technology

You are the Mother of this young world

Your breast, telephones and computers are very large

…and I just didn’t have the heart.

Deleted Positive Liberty from the blogroll because their site has gone offline (you can now find Jason Kuznicki over at CATO, btw).

Changed the Republican Liberty Caucus link to their blog. Bonus points: whoever the blog-master over there is, he’s a friend of Jim Forsythe’s (who won election to the State Senate on Tuesday), and any friend of Jim’s is a friend of mine (in fact, I’m wondering if I might know Aaron from the Ron Paul / Free State days).

Re-added Scotusblog to the blogroll.

Added the site What in the Fuck Has Obama Done so Far? to the blogroll, for kicks.

As always, let me know if there’s a blog you’d recommend. We love making connections, I love having a handy bookmark menu for daily reads right here on the site, and in particular it’s nice for smallish blogs like ours to network with writers that our readers might like to read.

  1. Jason Kuznicki is also blogging a bit at the League of Ordinary Gentlemen. The other Positive Liberty bloggers got back together at

  2. Sorry about the website. We hit some technical problems back during the summer that I couldn’t fix. And then the election season hit . . .

I should be back blogging with something new in the next few months. The election results have given me some free time, sadly.

  3. Well, let us know when you do, I’ll certainly put it up in FD’s stead. Not a lot of progressive libertarian blogs to chose from, unless Ben Masel gets out of jail long enough to put up a proper site. :)
