A Bad Sign

Jenny Sanford tells Barbara Walters that her first red flag about her husband, Mark Sanford, was when, prior to their wedding, he insisted that the fidelity clause be excised from their wedding vows.

  1. It’s probably not that exciting; if it’s like the UK process, you pick your vows and there’s all sorts of reasons people might like one set over the other. Also, it’d be a pretty moronic philanderer that went that route (given that you can still get a civil divorce on those grounds regardless of what the vows say) even so.

    In other news: people get divorced.
