Tea Party Attendance
FYI, Nate Silver does a pretty good educated guesstimate of tea party attendance across the country, and puts it at roughly 310,000+, but that’s just counting all the big ones. Adding in the smaller ones that didn’t get covered, it’d probably be around 350,000.
Amazingly, Silver also compiles every data point, meaning he has a list of every official(ish) attendance estimate for every major American city he can find coverage for.
Pittsburgh somehow gets missed entirely, but I’d guess around three or four hundred were there. Kansas City boasts 1,000. But Rojas, maybe you should have headed home. Topeka was estimated at 1,500 (?!).
