		<description>I&#039;m not particularly phazed by that stuff either.  Perhaps a better way to put it is Belle and Sebastian have taken up the mantle of emo too much for my taste (such that their music is too ubiquitous there, and too emo for my taste generally).</description>

		<description>Nice song.  I am completely unphazed by a band&#039;s association with wierd or otherwise narcissistic groups, and view it similarly to the guilt by association tactics referred to in Adam&#039;s post just below.  I enjoy selected My Chemical Romance, and would never have even heard of them if it were not for their standing as a /b/-tard standing joke. In MCR&#039;s case, the comparison to Obama-Wright is particularly apt given the lead singer&#039;s explicit rejection and condemnation of Emo culture.  I liked MRC enough to look into other supposed emo favorites.  The results were disappointing.
