We give the voters of the Republican party some credit for their sifting through and coming back with the best of them for the nomination. Might be worth considering that, with Obama, Democrats, I think, have done the same. Yes, one is leftist and one is rightist. And both are politicians. But they are both good, decent men, honestly preferring their respective visions of America because it's what they believe in. That's how it ought to be. People can want the same thing for different reasons. I can't wait to see Sullivan descend into screaming hysterics the first time McCain lands a meaningful attack on Obama. Phrases like "betrayl of principles" and "selling out a twenty-year record of honor and a lifetime of service" will be used.
