Today’s Reason Online has an interesting assessment of Ron Paul’s core appeal to Democrats. Andrew Sullivan links to this excellent blog commentary by an Arizona Democrat who’s aiding Ron Paul supporters in their work for the Republican primaries–the discussion section contains many stimulating arguments as to why Democrats should or shouldn’t involve themselves in the movement.

Meanwhile, at MyDD, Armstrong laments the still-birth of the Obama “movement” amongst the liberal netroots. 1. Dammit Rojas. I have a post in the queue waiting to be finished up about exactly this, with the same three links.

Screw you, I’m going to post it later anyway, when I have time to finish it. Hooray for redundancy!

Needless to say, though, that anti-war progressives who have been mortified by the excesses of the Bush administration and Republican party and exasperated by the Democratic party’s often MIA leadership skills on the critical issues of the day ought to give Ron Paul a long hard look.
