The Vice President’s Office: A Fourth Branch of Government?

There’s been a lot of interesting stuff lately coming out about the strange coup of Dick Cheney. I’ve never been one to characterize Dick Cheney as some kind of evil puppet-master, or to give him much more due than I would any other vice president. But what’s coming out about how the OVP has conducted itself in the last few years has been, well, disconcerting to say the least.

  1. By the way, it’s apropos of nothing, but Jason Woliner really was a bright spot in the 2004 elections. Between him and rx, Bush-Kerry almost seemed like fun.
